persuasive writing

New Zealand has 4.6 million pets. This means many students and teachers would have pets. In this essay, I am going

To argue why we shouldn’t have pets in class. They are a distraction.

Firstly, pets are distracting because students might get attached to them

and play with them all the time. This is bad because if students play with

the pets then they won’t get any work done. Students that play with the pet all the time will get in trouble.

Secondly, pets are a big responsibility because the teacher will not be able to look after their pet so the students will have to look after the teacher’s pet. This is bad because when the pets need to go to the toilet

The students will haft to take them also if the Dogs – are noisy – bark all the time –  wants to go for a walk

A student will also have to take it for a walk.

Thirdly, they are noisy for example say if the pet was a dog the dog got

Bored so it started barking and trying to play with the furniture

If they play with the furniture they could rip it. If the students are

Doing a test the pet in the classroom might scratch the cage that the pet is in.

Finally, these are the reasons I believe pets shouldn’t be allowed in the classroom. They are distracting, big responsibility and noisy.

Pets are cool but not in classrooms
